I worked closely (& extremely quickly - this garment was brought to market in 5 months!!!) with Dinner Service on bringing this collab to life. Being a huge fan of Island Creek before this collab, I was almost too excited to partner with them on this project. Working closely with ICO we learned more about the root of their brand and their aesthetic. Diving deeper we fell in love with their saying “salty, drunk & hungry”, although it wasn’t exterior facing for them…. I knew it was a perfect gateway into a graphic. Originally the garment was going to be on a flannel, however the graphic sketch provided to suit better on a knit garment pivoting our initial direction. See below for the process.
